A carafe with a matching drinks glass, the Glacier is a simple design with a sculptural base. Product design is by Peter Svarrer who is best known in Denmark for his long association with Holmegaard Glassworks. Svarrer was inspired by the long Nordic winters characterised by frosty mornings and clear ice crystal formations. Practically, the Glacier Carafe holds 1 litre (34 fl oz) of water, wine or what have you.
